Rule 35
Medical Board
:
(1) A medical board consisting of qualified physicians will be formed under the chairmanship of a person designated by the authority to check the physical and health-related qualifications mentioned in rule 34 and to provide health qualification certificates for the purpose of providing individual licenses, ratings and certificates. The required number of different experts and advisors can be included in the board.
(2) The Director General may form an aeromedical examiner group as per the need under the medical board as per sub-rule (1).
(3) In order to be a member of the medical board as per sub-rule (1) and an aeromedical examiner as per sub-rule (2), one must have at least a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject from an educational institution recognized by the authority.
(4) The procedures of the Medical Board and the Aeromedical Examiner Group may be formulated and implemented by the Medical Board.
(5) On the recommendation of the Medical Board, the Director General may determine the medical examination fee from time to time.
(6) Other arrangements related to the Medical Board and Aeromedical Examiner Group will be as mentioned in the Annex and Manual.
